Define Fashion

Sometimes I think to myself " What makes fashion, 'Fashion'? Who exactly decides whether or not a certain choice of style is fashionable, or categorized as fashion? So many questions but so little answers. As I did research on what fashion means to some people, I suddenly became appalled. Many felt as though Fashion is crass and witless, the list goes on. But, then there are the fashion lovers such as myself, who thinks of fashion as a form of expression. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but when it comes to fashion the argument is perpetual on what is the good, the bad, and the ugly. With different personalities comes different styles. Fashion is something that is timeless, decades after decades fashion has always played a significant role in society. Fashion could just be thought of as media rubbish or you could open up your eyes and see that most turn to fashion to articulate their style. But,one of the most ironic things when it comes to fashion is, as the decades change, something that was so stylish becomes so outmoded. I do believe the media plays a big role in society, by putting a deadline on what's in and what isn't. As the older generation grew old with the fashion they've been accustomed to growing up, the younger generation only began to love it. Vintage style is always the way to go. Everything you wear sends a message. The most important thing to learn about having style is there are going to be people that come in your life and try to make you change your outfit. Then, its those who wished they were in your outfit. Remember to always stunt on your lonesome. Finally, fashion could mean whatever it wants to you. Fashion is more than just clothes to me, its an escape, a getaway, and just something that has always made me happy. But most importantly, always be you no matter what.
