Greatest Fashion Moguls of this era

It's 2014, and you have to admit fashion is a BIG part of society. So, which celebrity inspires society more? There are many great fashion moguls from Marlene Dietrich to Kate Moss, Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel to Wallis Simpson. These women all had an impeccable sense of style and were highly known for it. But, that's just the women, what about the men? There are many male fashion moguls from Humphrey Bogart with his sharply cut suits, to the gorgeous David Beckham. But, lets talk about Today's fashion moguls. There are so many stylish celebrities in this era it's so hard to choose. I chose two celebrities that I thought both had great diverse sense of fashion. Kanye West and Solange Knowles. Kanye Omari West a singer-songwriter, record producer, rapper, fashion designer and entrepreneur. I know you're thinking "what can't this man do?", but with his multiple diverse occupations, comes his impeccable miscellaneous sense of style. Mr. West exhibits street wear meeting high end fashion. Kanye's vision led him to be a huge success, selling out his personalized Nike collaborated sneakers "Air Yeezys" in a matter of hours. Trendsetter is his name, in 2007 Kanye rocked a pair of "shutter" shades. Those infamous shades were the trend of the year. But, Kanye designed sneakers for Balmain and Giuseppe Zanotti ( two brands you have seen him in) and I doubt anyone knew that. Mr. West can go from a clean cut suit, to a high end - street wear look without a problem. I feel as though Ye is one of the number one influential male celebrities in this era and especially when we're talking about style.

Solange Piaget Knowles is a singer, songwriter, model and an actress. Along with Kanye West, Solange has the term style 'down to a T'. The beautiful Miss Solange has a style so impeccable and extraordinary. Inspired by artful prints and late African musicians such as Fela Amikulapo Kuti, her style is so diverse. But, the main thing I love about Solange is she's probably the only person who can put a purple blazer, red pants, and a polka dot blouse together and make it look so good. Everything Ms. Knowles wears makes a fashion statement. When asked about adding Fashion designer' to her long list of monikers, she made it clear that she would never start her own clothing line. Completely appalled, the fashion world was taken back by Solange's response. Her style is so inspiring from the fabulous suits, to the fun prints, shorts and the infamous pointy toed heels. But overall, Solange is definitely number one when it comes to most influential women when style is the topic.

Both of these celebrities contribute great amounts to society in more than one way. But, of course fashion lovers such as myself appreciate the inspiring style of both Kanye West and Solange knowles. Originality is always the key.
