New Year | New Fashion

It's New Years eve, the last day of 2014! This is also my last post of the Year, and that excites me so much! Being as though this year is over, we have to discuss the fashion of 2K14.

This year, I believed the fashion world has taken more risks than usual. I love it, fashionistas went over the edge & set trends for society. Speaking of Trends, What was you're favorite trend of the year? From the long trench/duster coats to the pointy toe pumps, I loved it all. But I would like you guys to decide for yourself!

The Camel Coats were absolutely my favorite, I decided to purchase one from Missguided.com!

Prints, Prints, and more Prints! Prints were most definitely in this year, it's always okay to take risks. I'd love to see more prints in the upcoming year of 2015.

Finally, one of the last trends in this year were jumpsuits. The jumpsuits were so different, which only made them more immaculate.

Overall, almost every trend in 2014 was a success! Lets see what this year of 2015 will bring us.

Okay, so i've talked about the trends of this year...but how could i forget the most important part. THE DESIGNERS, if it wasn't for the designers there wouldn't be any trends to like lol. But, I believe the Designer of the year award goes to *drumrolls* ALEXANDER WANG

Alexander wang blew the fashion world away this year, from his SS collection to the H&M collab, this was Wang's year of success. People camped out in order to get their hands on his H&M collction, which sold out in a matter of hours. Wang has always been one of my favorite designers, he knows out to step out of the box and be different. Alexander Wang's collection has alwyas been versatile but trendy at the same time. Take a look at some of his collection below as Wang set the bar high in 2014.

Hopefully, Wang blows the fashion world away in 2015 the same as he did in 2014.

SO, we've discussed the trends, designer of the year & finally it's time for Best dressed Celebrity of the year! This awards goes to Miss Rihanna Fenty, Rihanna has " Versastyle" down to a 'T'. This year, Rihanna examplified the high end look as well as the street look. Also, becoming creative director of Puma earlier in December, The year of 2014 belonged to Rihanna as well. Her style is so impeccable, but I believe you should see for yourself.

All I can say is SLAY, SLAY, SLAY AWAY Miss Rihanna, I love it. I'm anticipated to see what's in store for us in the upcoming year from Rihanna.

Finally, this year has been full of surprises in fashion. 2014 was one of the best years fashion wise & it only makes me wonder what's in store for fashion 2015.
